COMMITTEE ON PREPARATION FOR MINISTRY

Committee on Preparation for Ministry is to shepherd inquirers and candidates seeking ordination as Teaching Elder, also known as Minister of Word and Sacrament, through the process, while maintaining standards and accountability for the whole church. The Committee will work closely with applicants, inquirer, and candidates; with Church Sessions; Presbytery; and Seminaries to care for and assist in preparing and evaluating those who may be considering or seeking ordination as a Teaching Elder.
