MISSION PARTNERSHIPS
Beaver Creek Camp has existed for over fifty years, supported by Presbyterian churches in the Upper Ohio Valley. The primary purpose is to provide Christian Camping during the summer months.
Camp facilities are available for other uses during select weeks throughout the summer when summer camp is not in session. Many weekends are also available during the summer, along with most days during the fall and spring months.
Available dates can book up as early as a year in advance, so early reservations are recommended to secure facility use.
Laughlin Memorial Chapel cares for and empowers young people and families to enhance the quality of life in Wheeling and to reflect God’s love.
The mission of the Malawi Task Force is to promote and energize the relationship between Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery and Domasi Presbytery. We believe that both presbyteries will mature spiritually through prayer, communication, hospitality, and personal exchange.

UOV Labyrinth Ministries
UOV (Upper Ohio Valley) Labyrinth Ministries seeks to provide “Introduction to the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Tool” workshops and “Labyrinth Walks” at various church locations throughout the presbytery to provide spiritual support for presbytery leaders and congregations. It is the UOV Labyrinth Ministries’ hope that by introducing the Labyrinth as a spiritual tool, workshop and walk participants might also begin to explore other Christian spiritual tools and disciplines as ways of deepening their discipleship and spiritual life.
A $7,000 Innovation Grant received from the Synod of the Trinity in March 2023 enabled UOV Labyrinth Ministries to obtain a portable twenty-four foot canvas Chartres style Labyrinth and other resources to begin this ministry.
2024 UOV Labyrinth Ministry Sponsors include the First Presbyterian Church, Wellsburg, WV and the Bethlehem United Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem (Wheeling), WV. They have each donated $200 or more to UOV Labyrinth Ministries through Upper Ohio Valley Presbytery to become 2024 UOV Labyrinth Ministry Sponsors.
